What is the Jax Yoga 200 Hour Immersion?

The Jax Yoga 200 hour Immersion Training is a deep dive into the Techniques, Training and Practice, Teaching Methodology, Anatomy and Physiology, Yoga Philosophy/Lifestyle and Ethics for sincere yoga students who are interested in deepening their personal practice, and gaining knowledge and experience.

The Curriculum meets National Standards and upon completion, students are Certified 200 Hour Yoga Teachers.

Who is it for?

The Jax 200 Hour Immersion is for any sincere student with at least  one year of a regular yoga practice, the ability to commit to all weekends and a personal practice. 

A letter of recommendation from your yoga teacher is required.

When is it offered?

The program is being offered one weekend a month from August  2022 thru April 2023. The class meets at Jax Yoga in Jacksonville Illinois on Saturdays from 11am to 7pm and Sundays from 10am to 5pm.

September 18-19

October 8-9

November 12-13

December 3-4

January 14-15

February 11-12

March 11-12

March 31-April 1

How much is the investment?

The investment of time is 200 Hours that include classroom time, homework, personal practice, class planning, observations, and a community project. 

The financial investment is $2600 which breaks down to $13 an hour for the equivalent of college level instruction. Tuition includes the cost of 10 classes at Jax. For an additional $300 students can access unlimited classes at Jax for the duration of the program. 

A non refundable deposit of $500 is due at the time of registration to save your spot, and payment plans are available, with the last payment due no later than the February 11 class. 

There is a $100 discount for paying in full.

Classes are held at Jax Yoga in Jacksonville, IL.

We will spend a good deal of time learning yoga anatomy, alignment and how to modify and provide hands on adjustments.

You’ll Learn to Teach (Even if You Never Do) – whether you ever teach a yoga class after training or not, there is value in the practice of learning to teach (the preparation, the public speaking, the presentation). The blessing of sharing yoga by teaching others ripples out into all areas of your own life and the lives of those you teach. Learning to share the yoga experience with others as a facilitator builds confidence, helps you learn to stay grounded in yourself no matter what the outer circumstances, hone the skill of trusting your intuition, and speak from the heart.

Yoga is not a one size fits all practice.
