We don’t love the word “Challenge” when it comes to movement and self care, but sometimes we all need a little structure to ground into habits that will keep us in flow.

With that being said, we are CERTIAN that the daily habits that REALLY keep us well are the simple things that are easy to overlook. So, we are challenging you to practice the following self regulating habits for 21 days:

1. Drinking enough water (75-100 oz minimum)

2. Sleeping enough- aim for 8 hours (naps count too)

3. Eating enough protein (your weight in grams)

4. Meditating and breath practices (5 minutes per day)

5. Eating fruits and vegetables (aim for 5 a day)

6. Yoga or other movement (whatever makes you happy for as long as you can)

7. Self Care practices (whatever makes you happy for at least 10 minutes a day)

8. No technology before bedtime (no screens 1 hour before bedtime)

9. Daily gratitude (start your day by writing out 5 new things you are grateful for each day)

The challenge starts TODAY and runs from January 8-29.

Remember - It’s not the grand sweeping changes that help us feel better physically and be more present for our lives. It’s the small things- the little habits, that matter most. so this year, we are goving you some guidance to start your year off strong by embracing the foundations of mindful living and we decided to make the deal a little more enticing by including a chance to win a CASH PRIZE!

Here’s how it works:

  1. Commit to the daily practices.

  2. Venmo @jaxyoga $21 for members $42 for non-members.

  3. Print out the weekly checklists http://tinyurl.com/3fhusmvr and keep track of your habits.

  4. Everyone who pays via Venmo gets a water bottle at the end of the month, and is entered to win half the pot of money! (Currently up to $175)
